Engines are randomly
subjected to an extended performance (audit) test. The installation
conditions for the engine in the audit test stand are reproduced like
those in the vehicle (engine mounting, original exhaust system). The fuel
and the intake air are conditioned to simulate various operating
conditions.
JWF audit test stands are
equipped with an extensive array of measuring technology, which includes
exhaust gas analysis,
fuel and oil consumption, blow by, ect.
The engines being tested
are generally rigged and derigged outside the test stand on a trolley or
are loaded onto the test
stand by using a lifting gear.
