Uni 500
Multifunctional and integrative
The Uni 500 is the ideal testing tool for process development or when you begin to plan a series test – its maximum configuration masters the pressure decay/pressure rise, relative pressure/differential pressure and mass flow methods equally well, providing you with the best possible support in selecting the most suitable leak test method for your particular application. Once the process is complete, the Uni 500 can be easily integrated into the production line as a system device.
The Uni 500 is the leak test panel with the widest possible range of functions, which makes it particularly economical. It is three devices in one, after all!

Series 500 leak test panels
Compact and modular
Series 500 devices can be used as stand-alone units or as part of a system in machine lines or manufacturing plants. The intuitive menu structure allows for both simple operation of the unit and measurement curve display. As with the other device families, you can select different leak test methods and pressure sensors (pressure decay/pressure rise, relative pressure/differential pressure and mass flow methods). The Series 500 can also be used to measure volumetric flow. External sensors, pressure regulators and valves can be connected or controlled using the optional CAN bus module.

Series 400 leak test panels
Multifunctional and graphical
Series 400 devices are available as single or multi-channel systems. With up to eight measuring channels, different testing spaces at a time can be checked for leak tightness, which efficiently shortens test times. Moreover, the devices are suitable for quick quality assessments based on the visualised measurements. The optional ResultVisualizer software package clearly displays the values of all measurement channels on the large 15” TFT touchscreen, which is also used to navigate the menu. The device uses the pressure decay/pressure rise, the relative/differential pressure and the mass flow methods.
It is equipped with an RS 232 interface and a Profibus interface as standard; a Profinet, Ethernet or binary I/O interface is available as an optional extra. The USB port on the front allows easy data export.

Series 300 leak test panels
Versatile and modular
The Series 300’s leak test panels are the ideal choice for integration into machine lines and production facilities. An LCD plain text display is used to enter the parameters, set the test programme and display the test results. The USB interface on the front also allows the CALT data to be transferred to a PC using a memory stick. The last 500 measurements are stored on the device, and up to 100,000 measurements can be saved using the CALT software. Statistical parameters, such as the mean leak rate and standard deviation values, can be found in the statistics menu.
When selecting the device variant, various test methods are available – pressure decay/pressure rise, relative/differential pressure and the mass flow method.
The device is equipped with an RS 232 and a binary I/O interface as standard and, on request, it can also be equipped with an additional Profibus or Profinet interface.
Special functions related to procedures such as volume-dependent leak tests and dynamic pressure or membrane tests, can also be integrated, as can an auto mastering function or an auto parameter module.

Series 200 leak test panels
Visual and communicative
The Series 200 leak test panels can be used as stand-alone devices or as part of a system of panels. Their simple menu structure makes them easy to use, and a large display provides information on the pressure curve during the measuring phase. The device’s single-channel measuring system is equipped with a relative or a differential pressure sensor and operates either according to the pressure decay/pressure rise or the mass flow method. An electronic proportional pressure regulator sets the filling pressure at the beginning of the measuring phase.
The device has an RS 232 and a binary I/O interface and can be equipped with additional interfaces (Profibus, Profinet or Ethernet) on request. Up to 10,000 measurement results can be stored in the device’s memory. The data can be exported easily to an external memory stick via the USB port on the front.
Special functions such as a volume-dependent leak test, auto-mastering, auto-parameter module, dynamic pressure and membrane test are also available on request. In addition, external pneumatic measuring equipment can be integrated into the test process.

LK 100/800 leak calibrators
Lightweight and convenient
The LK 100 and LK 800 leak calibrators are ideal tools for checking and adjusting JW Froehlich leak test panels. They provide valuable assistance both for parameterisation during commissioning and for checking the system for linearity and validity. Their leak rate range can be switched between different values. They are connected to the respective leak test panel with the quick locking coupling. The leak rate is set using the precision throttle and indicated in cm³/min on the LCD display.
The devices are battery-operated and can be easily recharged via the USB port on the front of the leak test panels.

QS-MultiStation
The QS-MultiStation is a universally applicable manual workstation for semi-automated leak testing. This makes it the ideal tool for a wide range of tests where a flexible solution is required, such as testing small to medium-sized series, post-repair testing of leaking components or assemblies, or for the straightforward, practical checking of initial design results during the development of larger test systems. The insights into the sealing concept enable any necessary adjustments to be made before the system is completed – a significant step towards greater cost efficiency. Of course, the QS MultiStation can also serve as a back-up solution in the event of the failure of a large end-of-line system.
Furthermore, the QS-MultiStation is an ideal solution for inspecting tools – for example injection moulds used in the plastics industry. Especially during the development phase or after repairs have been made, the respective parts can be tested for leaks quickly and easily so as to obtain information about how well they are working, or to identify potential for improvement.
