In our machines and systems, there is plenty of metal and technical expertise! That's why, as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), you will learn how to read technical drawings and how to correctly assemble and install the inner workings of a large machine. Machines or components are rarely delivered fully assembled. Once all the individual parts are at the installation site, you will assemble the machine. Finally, you will check if everything works as it should. Whether you're assembling, repairing, testing, or adjusting machines at the company or on-site at customer locations worldwide, all of these machines exist partly because you built them mechanically. Your three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship includes a foundational training in the first year, which takes place at an external training workshop (GARP). Afterward, you will learn all about mechanics in real-world operations at our company and work alongside us on our assembly and testing systems from day one. Our experienced employees will provide support throughout your entire apprenticeship. The technical vocational school (Friedrich-Ebert-Schule Esslingen) takes place one to two days per week, where all the necessary theoretical content will be taught.
