Have you ever replaced a light bulb at home or repaired your bicycle yourself?
Maybe you enjoy working with metal but also like soldering wires. Perhaps you have fun assembling mechanical and electrical components using LEGO or Fischertechnik and getting them to work. Never heard of it or not sure what it looks like? No problem!
Apply for an internship and find out what exciting tasks a mechatronics technician has with us!

As a mechatronics technician (m/f/d), you are the expert for machines.

Our machines and systems are packed with technology – including robots! Mechatronics technicians know their way around all of this. They check whether the machines are functioning properly and repair defective parts. Your tasks are diverse: before a robot becomes operational, you install control software and program its functions.

Once the machine is ready, it is delivered to customers worldwide. As an expert, you inform them about safety precautions and explain how to operate our specialized machines.

Your three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) includes a foundational training year, which takes place at an external training workshop (GARP). After that, you will learn everything about mechanics and electronics in real operations at our company. From day one, you will work on our assembly and testing systems, supported by our experienced employees throughout your entire apprenticeship.

Your tasks:

  • Programming and installing control systems and complex machinery
  • Leading assembly teams during machine setup
  • Working with circuit diagrams and technical drawings
  • Supporting and advising customers
  • Replacing mechanical and electronic components

  • At least a good secondary school diploma
  • Interest in and good grades in science subjects (math, physics, and technology)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Technical understanding and enthusiasm for new technological developments
  • Skilled craftsmanship
  • Enjoyment of traveling
