In our machines and systems, there are lots of cables that transmit both information and electricity. That's why, in your training as an Electronics Technician for Operational Technology (m/f/d), you'll learn how to read circuit diagrams and how to install the electrical components correctly. In your job, it will be "Caution, electricity!" every day. Whether you're repairing, inspecting, or adjusting machines in the company or on-site with customers worldwide, they all rely on electricity to function.
Your three-and-a-half-year training as an Electronics Technician for Operational Technology (m/f/d) includes a foundational training during the first year, which takes place at an external training workshop (GARP). After that, you'll learn everything about electronics in real-world operations at our company and will get hands-on experience from day one with our assembly and testing systems. Our experienced staff will be there to support you throughout the entire training. The technical vocational school (Friedrich-Ebert-Schule Esslingen) takes place 1-2 days a week, where all the necessary theoretical content is provided, such as:
- Electrical installation of our special machines
- Testing and adjusting functions of electrical components
- Installation and setup of our special machines worldwide
- Analyzing and eliminating faults
- Installation and assembly of components and assemblies
- Interest in electricity, physics, and mathematics
- Practical skills
- Technical understanding and good spatial awareness
- Enjoyment of traveling
